How do PODS® containers compare to MI-BOX?
Both have 8 ft., 12 ft., and 16 ft. containers but only MI-BOX has a 20 ft. storage container for the larger jobs. MI-BOX units come standard with composite wall panels, most of PODS® storage units use wooden walls covered in a thin metal sheet. Most of PODS® containers use timber framing inside to add strength to each pod®, but wood can hold moisture.
Relocubes® are the portable storage units offered by U-Pack®, and like PODS®, 1-800 Pack Rat® and U-Haul®, they are all designed to make moving and storage easier. They are generically called units, pods, bins, containers or boxes but they are different. Each unit is constructed differently, moved differently and serviced by different companies.
